I am very familiar with the TEKS, so it is very easy to select them from the standards cards. However, my school has requested that we select standards from The Cardinal Newman Society. I have been using the AI feature to scan my current selected standards and my plans in order to add relevant standards from Cardinal Newman. Sometimes this works great! Other times is completely deletes my already selected TEKS. I would like to see this more consistent in just adding the standards and not deleting current ones. Here is the prompt I give the AI tool, "Review the current standards (TEKS) and plans for this lesson and select and add the appropriate Cardinal Newman Society standards for English/Language Arts for Grades 7-12. Do not delete the standards already selected, just add on the Cardinal Newman standards."
