It would be amazing if there was a way to make a gradebook sheet with the program.

adding the options to add grades would simplify everything. would be fantastic to add grades to each assignment to keep evrything on one place. id pay more for that option

I am a homeschooler so I am on my own to record grades

Thanks for the suggestion! Does your school or district have a way for you to record grades? Or, are you on your own to record grades?

It would be excellent if this could include a grade book feature. Then we only need to list the assignments and standards once and we can use that to populate the grade book as well.
Having an option to include a portfolio would be nice as well to upload and save student work for them.

Adding a gradebook to this program would make my life so much easier. Keeping and tracking records are very important. And they coincide with lessons already planned.

Great to have a gradebook, TOO!

I would LOVE this. I actually came on here today to suggest this feature! It's a good backup of the current "school" gradebook, as well. If the official one is ever hacked, the paper ones stolen... we'll have this one as backup! Also, an option for easy importing of grades/student lists?

Ashley Harris: I completely agree! I think the one thing missing here is a gradebook

I am the Tech Integrator for our district which uses JumpRope for grading. Many of our users have come to me impressed with the power of that program but frustrated with the user interface and the lack of a unified planning tool. I bumped into your product looking for such a supplement and am very impressed. Your user interface is far more intuitive and polished and I came to this post looking to see if there were plans to implement a grading element - it seems to me that your platform screams to take that next step. Once standards-linked assessments, units, and courses are in place in your product it should be as simple as linking them to student rosters for each course. You've done the heavy lifting and made it look easy, filling in the grades should be cake. Once set up, I could see a "card" in the "Day View" with students along the side and standards along the top and a grid to enter grades. In other views this card could be a summary of the grade. Reporting this data could be tricky; JumpRope does that very well but almost too well. You can report every angle of their database to your hearts content, but visualizing that data is just not clear. Khan Academy does standards visualization of progress well, you could learn something from their lead, perhaps a similar colored bar showing various stages of progress toward mastery could be added. Even if the gradebook could not follow the same card format, I'm sure a grading tab would not complicate your interface too much, and perhaps could work to your advantage by adding a modular option to allow users to add it as a premium feature. I'd love to see you add JumpRope integration, but if you do please teach them a thing or two about GUI ;) For what it is worth, I'd be happy to follow up this discussion or test any such endeavors.
