I could copy an entire week, month or semester worth of lessons.

I want to be able to copy my lesson book from this year and use it again next year. That way I can tweak it as I go along instead of typing the entire thing again. Also, I sometimes teach a semester course that repeats at the new semester, so I would love to be able to copy my lessons from the first semester and paste it into the second semester.

I can copy an entire week to the next week.

There are some units I teach across multiple content areas that have the same core objectives and standards. I would love to be able to take an entire week's plans and copy them to the following week so that I can change a few components instead of rewriting everything.
For example, if I am teaching a three week unit on opinion writing that is being integrated with my social studies standards, I would like to copy all of that to the following week in one batch.
Thanks!

It would be great if there was a button available at all times to move to the next week, so that if I am copying lesson plans for one day to next week, I don't have to scroll all the way to the top to go to next week. Also, as an elementary teacher, it would be nice to be able to copy the lessons for all of my subjects on one particular day to the next week, instead of on subject at a time.

Scott - What if you redesigned the toolbar across the top (underneath the date) with dropdown menu options? If I hover over the option for day, week, month, year, or unit, have a dropdown menu that has "view", "copy ", and "paste"? That may keep the options out of view for those who don't care for them but still available for those who would like to use them. (I have no idea how the coding for it would work, but I'll leave that up to the experts!)

I teach two classes with essentially the same sequence of work (material covered), but at different levels. It would be very useful to be able to simply copy all the Units within a class rather than having to build/repeat all the units for the year over again.

Tim Metcalfe: We just added an "Import Lessons" option. You can access this from the lesson menu. While it isn't exactly a copy/paste function (we are still working on that), this should work in the mean time. Would you mind checking it out?

Yes! If we can make this happen this year, it will save my T.A. from printing one week at a time for next year.
