When I am in day view, the cards are quite narrow, which means lots of scrolling to get to the bottom of a day. It would be great if day view took up more of the screen.

There is a lot of empty space on either side of the day view which makes the text of each lesson really small. It would be great to have the day lesson view take up the whole or most of the screen space to increase the text size when viewing.

This is a great suggestion and I agree that it should be more responsive to the width of your browser window. I can't say for sure if/when we'll do this, but I appreciate the suggestion!
