Move Special Events

I use special events to add a special lesson, visitor, appointments, etc. But sometimes these events need to be moved to another day. Rather than rewrite the entire event, it would be great to have the tab with the dots appear to the right (like it would with a lesson) so I could click, hold, and move it to another day.

Hi Gina! Have you tried adding cards to the day? It sounds like that might solve the problem for you. Here's how to do it: https://commoncurriculum.com/help/add-a-card-or-note-to-a-day-2LJ1Rz2FhY0McmQU2eAIOW
Let me know if that works or if that solution doesn't do what you're looking for.

Scott Ames-Messinger: Hi, Thank you for the idea- but that's not what I am wanting to do. I really want to be able to move special event items. This is a busy week for me and I have many days that have multiple special events. I'd like to be able to put them in the order as they need to happen.

Gina Ruffcorn: Thanks for the response! Do you mean you want to reorder them at the top of the page or you want to move them into slots between your lessons?

Scott Ames-Messinger: Reorder at the top of the page.

Gina Ruffcorn: That's a great idea. We didn't even consider people would need to do this when we developed the feature, so it will take some serious thought as to add it in. That said, I really wish we had considered this use case months ago. Thanks for bringing it up! And thanks so much for the followup!

Scott Ames-Messinger: Thank you for your kind words and rapid replies. I LOVE Common Curriculum so much! It' the ONLY plan book I have EVER used consistently. I've been teaching for 15 years and generally I wind up trying a bunch of options (paper, and web based) and then just giving up and not submitting my lesson plans because all of the options stunk. CC is fantastic. This will be the first and only year that my lesson plans are complete and all in one place!!!!

Gina Ruffcorn: That makes my day! Thanks!!!!
