Visual appearance

I was at a workshop and introducing CC to new teachers. One of the things they freaked out about was the visual appearance of the columns. As you type the box moves down, which also moves down the class underneath. Teachers typically like to see things evenly spaced. Although I showed them the options to view, they wanted to see the whole week evenly in addition to the of the need to type other information. Other suggestions, widening the boxes a little (bit narrow), reducing the annual cost for teachers (if a single teacher is purchasing the resource it really needs to be more affordable as expressed by the group).

Hey LaSondria
Thanks for your feedback. We will take note of this!

Charlotte James: thanks its hard for me to see the weeks progression with one day being longer than the day be before I'm scrolling up and down.

LaSondria Young: that totally makes sense.

I wish the week view lined up all the same classes together.

I use the week view for my lessons, and because the days differ in content, some of my lessons are longer than others. This currently makes my classes, after first hour, misaligned with the next days same class. It is kind of annoying not being able to quickly see the "continuum" for each particular class without scrolling up or down, often back and forth. Does this make sense?

Organize it so that all of the lessons for one class are in a row instead of starting right below the previous class's lesson.

Have them option to keep each type of lesson aligned in a row

Hello!
I'm in no way a neat freak, but I wish there was a way I could keep all of the same subject lessons aligned so as I'm working on my reading (for example), I can see how my lesson is progressing each day, copy and paste things easier, etc. Right now, if one lesson is longer than the other, or maybe I am not teaching something else I normally do in the morning, it screws up the layout of my templates! My reading lesson one day is clear up by something I teach two lessons prior to reading, while another is pushed down next to math. I wish I had the option to lock the subjects together so as I'm editing my plans and putting in the information, its much easier to see. I just get lost trying to scroll all over the place to find something. Thank you!

I would love it if I could collapse the content of the lesson, so I just see lesson titles and objectives/standards.

Exactly what Alicia said. just add a "hide lesson conent"(other than the class and the lesson title) next to the full screen option when you press the arrow! This would be amazing. My weekly planning as a snapshot for all grade levels is impossible with the current layout. I can see individual units in a snapshot, can I see my week somehow! :)

Or, make the lessons collapsible with just the name showing so that when they are collapsed they line up.
