View 2 weeks at a time

I would also LOVE to see 2 weeks at a time. It is very helpful to see what I am thinking about for the following week at the same time. BTW - my google calendar is set up this way so I already know that I would definitely use it! Also, most online planners I have not been too excited about and I usually go back to paper and I pencil. I am really enjoying the flexibility that I have with your system. Keep up the good work and thank you!!

When I plan for the week, I normally look at the next week and plan ahead as well. I hate having to either switch weeks back and forth or try to look at the whole month.

Being able to look at/edit 2 weeks at a time would be helpful.

Thanks for the encouragement and the idea! When you say 2 weeks, would you want to see the entire lesson above/below each other? We've thought about this before and worry it would be too overwhelming or too much on the screen. Also, how many classes do you have? Lastly, if you have any drawings you could send us, that would be really helpful in seeing what you have in mind!

Scott Ames-Messinger: Thank you for your interest. I see your points and will give it serious thought over the next few days and put together my ideas for you. By the way, I teach 4 different classes so I understand your point about clutter but I still think it can be done as an optional view. I will team up with my snipping tool and let you know my thoughts.
Thank you for seriously considering this. I just started using your program 3 weeks ago and I love its versatility. All other online planners that I’ve tried I drop by now and go back to paper and pencil. Thanks again.

You're welcome! If you get a chance over spring break to draw something up, I'd love to see it! If, instead, you spend spring break at the beach, I understand too!

Scott Ames-Messinger: Hi Scott,
Here it is. When it gets to the second half of the current week, I am thinking about the following week and it would be nice to have it right there. And, Yes, I was thinking one week after the other but class by class.
My current view is this:
- Calendar
- Algebra 1
- Honors Geometry
- Geometry
- Precalculus
What I would like it to look like is this:
- Calendar (current week)
- Calendar (next week)
- Algebra 1 (current week)
- Algebra 1 (next week)
- Honors Geometry (current week)
- Honors Geometry (next week)
- Geometry (current week)
- Geometry (next week)
- Precalculus (current week)
- Precalculus (next week)
So this will double the length of my page from 5 classes long to 10 classes long but that is okay because with being to use the “customize layout” and choosing which class I see, I can quickly tidy up the view if needed. Another idea is to have the option of an expanded view of week 2 or to just view the top part and see the “lesson topic” only.
Thank you and please do not hesitate to let me know if any of my information needs clarification!

Laurin Westerfield: That description is gold! That really help see what you have in mind. I'll have to noddle on this -- I'm not sure when or if we'll get to it, but I see how useful it would be and how much easier planning would be if you had it. Thanks so much!!

Scott Ames-Messinger: Just another thought - a button at the top that can take you back to today’s date with just one click. (Unless it is already there and I have missed it).

I could view two weeks at a time.

It would be really helpful if I could see lesson plans for a class in two week increments rather than just one week or a month. Right now I have to flip back and forth from the week I am planning to the previous week in order to make sure the lesson plans flow together. Thanks!

Thank you, I'll try the year view.
I was able to open two browser windows and see each week in separate windows. Not a bad work around.
By the way, I am enjoying the unit planner!
Thanks again!
